Official Proclamation The Youth Pledge Entered into the public record

We, the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow, pledge ourselves to the service of our communities, our schools, and our generation.

We believe that youth voices matter. We believe leadership is earned through action, integrity, and responsibility. We believe public service is not about power, but about giving back to the people and the communities that shaped us.

We pledge to stand for

  • Civic engagement
  • Educational opportunity
  • Community empowerment
  • Respectful leadership
  • Accountability and transparency
  • Advocacy for students and youth voices
  • Equality, dignity, and opportunity for all

We will not remain silent when our communities need representation. We will not ignore the challenges facing students and future generations. We will work together to build stronger schools, stronger communities, and a stronger future.

We pledge to lead not through division, but through collaboration. Not through selfishness, but through service. Not through fear, but through vision and courage.

We recognize that leadership is a responsibility entrusted to us by those we represent. Because of this, we commit ourselves to honesty, professionalism, and respect for the people we serve. We pledge to uplift others, create opportunities for future generations, and ensure that no student feels unheard or forgotten.

Through advocacy, governance, civic engagement, and public service, we dedicate ourselves to creating meaningful change within our schools, our cities, and our society.

Today, we make this commitment: to lead with purpose, to serve with integrity, to advocate with courage, and to leave behind a legacy greater than ourselves.

For the future belongs not only to those who inherit it, but to those willing to build it.
